Tokyo I Love You

I dreamed of Tokyo for so long and when I finally bought my plane ticket, I couldn't contain my excitment. To me it felt like my birthday! It was everything I hoped and more. The Japanese people are beyond kind, friendly, funky, and fresh. Their style is modest but unique. Their culture is ancient yet progressive. I was surprised on so many occasions their politeness and etiquette. The city is massive, highly populated, yet orderly. Their food is an art form. I'm still amazed, intruiged, and in awe of Japan. I typically do not choose to travel to a country more than once because I have so many on my list to visit, but I'll be back! I'm already planning my next trip this April! 2 Days in Kyoto

Kyoto is amazing in so many ways. It is one of the most well preserved cities in Japan. One reason is that is was removed from the atomic bomb list during WWII.  Nestled in a valley surrounded by mountains, this tranquil serene place can feel like your stepping back in time. Kyoto is home for 1600 Buddhist temples and 400 Shinto shrines. The immense history amazed me, the natural beauty astonished me, and the pleasant gracious people touched my heart.
